Stephens, McCarthy, Lancaster, LLC appointed agent for MacLean Power Systems in the Pacific Northwest.

Thursday, February 24, 2000 -- MacLean Power Systems (MPS) announced recently that it was appointing Stephens, McCarthy, Lancaster, LLC (SML, LLC) as their representative in the Pacific Northwest effective March 1, 2000. This expanded responsibility for SML, LLC includes the states of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. SML, LLC has represented MPS in Northern California and Northern Nevada for nearly 4 years. 

Tom Mac Donald, VP Domestic Utility Sales at MPS announced the retirement decision by Mr. Ed Zavadlov after 38 years of service with the company in this territory. "Ed Z" as he is known in the market place and by co-workers and his wife Barb, will spend the next year or so traveling the country and sightseeing. Mr. Mac Donald was quoted as saying, "Ed has given MPS 38 years of outstanding service. At MPS we are torn between the disappointment in losing Ed's knowledge, experience and great relationships, and the excitement for Ed and Barb as they enjoy retirement together. Both are active outdoors people and all of us at MPS wish them the best. Stephens, McCarthy, Lancaster, LLC has provided MPS excellent coverage in their previous responsibility and has added to their organization to take on this increased  role."
