Stephens, McCarthy, Lancaster, LLC expand their role with Homac & Nehring.

Wednesday, March 8, 2000 -- Stephens, McCarthy, Lancaster, LLC (SML, LLC) now has responsibility for the Homac Companies and Nehring Electrical Works at Pacific Gas & Electric Company.  SML, LLC has been responsible for Sierra Pacific Power and the Public Power Market in Northern California for both Homac and Nehring.  Dick Moon of Moon Associates, who has been the agent for Homac for almost thirty years, has closed his San Bruno, CA office and will be acting as a consultant for SML, LLC.

The Homac companies now include Homac, Gibbons, Frankel and the Homac line of fired wedges.  Homac is based in Ormond Beach Florida, and has several manufacturing plants located throughout the United States.  Homac is an Alliance Partner with Pacific Gas & Electric and they have earned awards in the PG&E SPARQ program for their role in reducing costs, improving delivery and industry leadership.

Nehring Electrical Works specializes in copper and aluminum wire for the electric utility industry and is located in Dekalb, Illinois.  They have been and continue to be a key supplier to PG&E and many other utilities in Northern California and Nevada.
